Whose justice are we talking about? Justice for the crime, the criminal, or the victim’s family, loved ones and friends? Is 22.5 years enough? I don’t think so, but I don’t know. It depends on who you ask. This work shares the voices of Ben Crump (the George Floyd family attorney), Keith Ellison (the Minnesota AG), and many other comments from articles and twitter feeds, reflecting on the Derek Chauvin sentencing. As long as we keep standing up for justice, this is a moment in time that can change history.

In our last issue, we asked our readers What has changed? What remains the same? How have you changed? What have you done differently?
We received many responses. We are publishing some of them in this issue and the rest in the August issue.
