My name is Osaze Osayande, and I am an incoming fourth-year student at UCSB studying Psychological and Brain Sciences with a minor in Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice. I possess a profound passion for advocating prison abolition and highlighting the detrimental effects of the carceral system on our nation, specifically within Black America. The inherent injustice of the prison industrial complex has been a compelling force that fuels my aspiration to pursue a career in the legal field.
