poetry posture
By c.r. glasgow
locs tied
alternate Roots
binding bastards bound for broken
branches of the ancestor tree.
eyes bulged
to match this package
erupting lines lodged
between the vorticity of belly
& drool of mouth.
heart resuscitated by financials,
flaying phalanges pulsating with the
beat of the final drum.
shoulders shawling
pulsating syncopated
that snare making sense
of nonsense got
the body in
perforated chalk outlines...
just in case
when they make a case
catch case of the
fires from the edge of humanity,
blood boosted awaiting mutations.
worlds wordsmithed like the Rapture caught in the sky
waiting to be saved.
